Oh, and this fella rocks!!
The wedding…
WARNING: big-ass post below, proceed with eyes wide open!
It's been a long time now, so this is gonna be a big-ass update! Are you up for it? Sure? Okay, let's go!
As you might have seen the last post I had was three days before the wedding. And then I went all silent on you. Well, it was much to do those last three days. We had to get all the last things together. We had to decorate the house we had rented. We had to decorate the church, We had to practise and schtuff...etc, etc.
But finaly the day was there, and boy was I nervous!! The curch was perfect. The weather was more than perfect!
The wedding started at 13:00 (one o'clock) on Saturday. As the musicman started playing the weddingmarch I couldn't stop smiling. Because there came the most beautiful bride I had EVER seen! I had to remind my self to breath more than once.
She was so beautiful that the first thing I said to my best man when she entered the curch was; "Oh my God, she's so beautiful!!" I didn't even know I said it untill he told me after the wedding. But I think God will forgive me, don't you?...hehe.
The priest was an unusualy cool priest, so the wedding went smooth and was kinda amusing at times :)
Then we drove of for the photosession. In a '58 Buick! Damn, that car was fly!. Oh, here's a picture of us kneeling for the blessing. Almost forgott to add that one.
After the photosession (you'll get to see those pictures later, when I get the time to scan'em...) we went to the house we rented for dinner and coffee. And a whole lotsa cake!
And a huge wedding cake, made by BM2's sister. Here are some pictures of that: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6.
And the party went on for hours, long into the night. We had many fun games, i.e a question game where we had to answer on who did what in our relationship...very funny. Not to many answers where alike though...hehe. And a weird play where the people playing had to have matches in their mouths. So their lines where quite amusing, even for the players! And we even had a musical act :^)
Then, after many hours of fun and talking, smiling, being taken pictures of...etc...etc, we went to the hotell for our wedding night *wink wink*. But enough of that, here are some more pictures from the party that night:
my aunt and her twins singing a song for us
my buddies (from the right; my best man Tor Atle, John Thomas and Vidar)
my wife and her bridesgirl
my mom and dad enjoying the cake
the new family
me and my wife and me and my wife again
Now that's about all there is to say about out wedding day at the moment. There's more to come later one so don't panic ;^)
After we got home...
...I started my new job, quite fun I must say. And we went on a small vacation this weekend. Now that was a great thing to do. We really needed that time off after all this planning and shit. And we had a great time. just the two of us...all alone...in a cabin with a sauna and other nice things ;^)
So, did you make it this far? Wow! You're a great reader/fan/friend then :^)
Sorry about the size of the pictures, but I didn't wanna spoil the great quality to much. So now you know why I've been so quiet these past weeks.
But spread the word, da man is back!! With backup! (BM2)
And thanks for all the mails (no, correction, the one mail) I got. And the nice greatings in various sites all around. Mucho nice-o :^D
Btw, what happend to this fella? Wasn't he supposed to be such a bad-ass reporter? Wuzz!
