I passed with flying colors! Hell yeah, it was easy. No really, it was...and today I drove a fork-lift for the first time (actually it was the first time I've ever driven anything with an engine and more than two wheels, but that's not important...) and that was in fact easier than I thought. So now we'll just hafta see if this can help my quest, the quest for a paycheck...

Yeah, it's D-day today. The day with a capital D! In only a few hours I'm having my "exam" in the art of fork-lifts. Am I nervous? Nah...not at all......

Of course I'm bloddy nervous! Wish me luck.

GTA 3 – Tips and Tricks #1

"ISLAND JUMPIN'..."
...or "How to jump from island to island without having to play trough them all one by one in order to get (to try) those snazzy cars"

Y'know, there's something about the fact that there's an second and third island in GTA3 that makes you try everything to get to them as fast as possible. And if you're anything like me, you can't wait untill all the missions are done ;)
So I decided to try a few various possibilities. Now, most of them ended up in my poor character getting wasted, but one worked. Now, this only works if using cheats (yes, it's bad...but we're trying to beat the game rules anyhow right?!).

So, firts of, get a fast car. Maybe the diablo's standard hot-rod car or do as I do, steal the roadster. This car is found in the cardealer shop besides 8-balls. You can get in various ways, the two most used are to either drive a stolen car right trough the front window...or as I do, shoot the sucker up with mah badass uzi!

Then we proseed to the bridge. Take a good stand at the very beginning of the bridge, like this. Then type in the cheat; "CHITTYCHITTYBB" without the quotes ofcourse. A message should appear reading "CHEAT ACTIVATED". Now you'r all set for the big jump (the cheat removes your normal gravity btw...get the idea?). Hit the gas! Pedal to the metal! And GO!

And wham! Welcom to Stanton Island :) Now, there's a slight possibility your car will look like this now. But who cares? Go steal another one, but remember to deactivate the cheat! Just write it as you did before, this goes for all cheats in this game. Now it's important to save, cuz when you die here, you go back to Portland. Find your safe house, save (use another one than your normal one, this way you can still play trough the missions), and go explore. Maybe find the parking garage and do a little more flying? Like this :) See, read the sign, I'm not lying either. I'm really at Stanton Island!
