It’s slowly dawning on me

Wow, I acctually have something to do this monday, and at least 6 months ahead. I have a job. I have a job. This sentence has been on repeat since yesterday morning. It's such a wounderfull sentence, such pretty words. Let's all say it together "I (you) have a job!". Wowzah!

It's gonna be jolly good fun this here job. Working for Netcom. I've tried to get a job there before, but with less luck (read: nada luck at all).
I'm not sure on exactly what I'm supposed to do but as far as I've been able to tell I'll be involved in the support part of Netcom. This can be many things, from trying to explain to a caveman why he can't wash his phone in the dishwasher when it's dirty, to figuring out why the techie on the other line can't connect his Nokia xxxx with his new XP powered laptop via Bluetooth. Or I can end up as the fella who helps you renew your number after it's been closed cuz you didn't pay the last 2 bills.

But regardless of WHAT I'll be doing, I'll be loving it. This is a place with possibilities. Or at least I think so. What better place to start than at the bottom of one of the major telecom companies in Norway?

Yup, I'm gonna hold on to this job with both hands! If they wanna get rid of me they'll hafta pry the keyboard out of my cold dead hands! And even then I'll be back to haunt them from beyond the grave...

I’ve got a job!

YES! I have! Kelly Services called today at 11 (me still asleep but boy did I wake up fast!) and said they wanted me to work at NetCom Support! Only 2 days after the intervju! I'm so happy!!!

PhotoGallery is down

Yes, the server provider has desided to turn on php "Safe Mode" thus rendering my gallery royaly screwed! But as they say, you get what you pay for...or don't pay. I'm trying to work around it but haven't been that lucky yet *sob*

Untill then, y'all just relax and take deep breaths. Meanwhile I have started to categorize all my 250+ posts in the "Old School" category. What one don't do when having to much spare time...

Btw, also upgraded to MT v2.61 (with security hole plugged tight!). That was way easier than I thought :)

But that will hafta be all for now. I hafta hit the sack cuz I hafta get up early tomorrow. Going downtown to see a Manpower-lady. Mebbe I'll get lucky? ;)

I guess I’m a Nocturnal creature by heart

I never did understand the need to sleep during the night. Like now, it's 2 o'clock in the friggin' morning and I'm not even tired! But alas, I hafta go to bed soon so that I don't wake up my sweet wifey. She has to get up at 4:50 tomorrow, or I guess that's today..or? *confused* Anyways, she's going straight on the bus for her hometown after work. She finally got the time and oportunity to visit her oh-so-very pregnant sister. So she's leaving tomorrow and comming back this sunday. And me, I'm going back home to mah Ma and Pa *real fat southern sond*!

I'm going to stay there untill sunday. It's gonna be a blast, I'll drink dad's boze, smoke dad's cigars, play mom's music (and dad's of course), and drink here Baileys'...it's gonna be a h00t! I'll really play the role of the flat-broke son as good as it's possible to get! I'll make them fell reeeeal bad for me and then, wham! Use it for all it's worth ;)

And you know what? They'll love it :D Cuz they luuurve their son :P
