I got a job!

Yay! I got a job!! It's only a temp. but it's something to do and it pays relatively good ;) I'm currently working for a electronic import firm. They supply electronic stuff like batteries, headphones, TV remotes etc etc etc to most of the large eletronics stores here in Norway. And I'm one of the guys that sees to it that they get what they need at the right time. Not to mention that I get all the gizmos I want super-cheap! Now, if I just had some money...

Other than that life is the same. I'm still looking for work of a more stable character, looking forward to christmas and desperatly trying to improve my somewhat rusty english...

And I'm hoping that my friend Birdie will get my new layout done for Christmas! ;)

First Time Driving in The City

So, I'm taking my drivers license these days and today I had my second two-hour session. We practised starting and stopping, shifting gears and turning (at crossroads). And at the end of the class she wanted ME to drive back trough town. ME! Yikes! Needless to say I was a bit stressed and generaly worried that I'd either hit a car or, God forbid, a person. But it went much smoother than I thought. No accidents or random roadkills today. I feel that I'm getting the hang of it now, but I do have a lot left to learn.

Next time we'll be driving up to a ski-lodge here in Trondheim and we'll be using all gears this time. To boldly go where no man has gone before! Gears 3-5 here I come! And me who thinks 30 km/h is fast these days...

But now I'll gotta go. I'm just having a pitstop at the library while I'm waiting for my wife, Lady Laundry, to get off work.

The Candy King

I just love candy. I'm a candyholic, and especially the marzipan candy that we in Norway have during christmas. Thus it's nice to have worked at the largest candyfactory in Norway cuz I then get all the speciall discounts *big cheesy grin*

So I just returned from my christmas candy shopping and I now have 12 bags of assorted christmas candy ("Nidars Store Julepose"), one bag of various marzipan candy, 3 large marzipan pigs, 30 medium sized marzipan pigs, 50 marzipan breads ("Gullbrød") for my father inlaw (a little pre-christmas gift), 3 large plates of chocolate and 4 large bags of christmas chocolate ("Nidars Julefavoritter")!! And I only paid like about 400 NOK for the whole lot! That's about 65,81 dollars or 49,97 Euro.

Ah, gotta love Christmas! :)

Cold. So.Damn.Cold!

I hate the winter! I really, really, really, really hate winters! It's so friggin' cold! Sheez! No wounder people all over the world thinks there's friggin' polarbears walking in the streets everywhere in Norway. I'm expecting to see them soon my self, or maybe that's just the cold getting to my brain...

Brrr, off to set the house on fire! I'll be back when my fingers are more movable...say IN THE SPRING!
